I surely hope Akai is doing something about this! (Speaking of Apple: imagine if every time Apple released an update it had a million bugs to it making their computers usuable? Oh no... It never happens. BECAUSE THEY TEST IT PROPERLY BEFORE THE RELEASE.)

Apple has never been bug free with a OS release, and let's not forget those wonderful mirror G4 that didn't want to work with any hardware or software.

But let's not get off track.

Since the plug in is displayed on the hardware, is it really necessary to go back to 1.4?

It's true... You're right.

But I reverted to 1.4 anyway, not only because the Waves Plug-Ins windows were bugged out, but also because 1.5 brought absolutely NOTHING I wanted. It even removed the possibility to organize the samples alphabetically! (The "AZ" button in the Project Information window...).

Samples are automatically organized alphabetically in 1.5.

As in when you scroll through samples in pgm edit(viewing on the hardware screen)
already loaded into ram?

For me they aren't. Is there a fbutton or something i need to turn on to do this?

Is is this statement for browsing unloaded samples?

Hey, first of all i have to say that for me the mpc software works quite fine and stable.
the only thing is: when i exit the software after using it standalone (not as plugin) without the ren plugged to the pc it crashes everytime.

I'm probably wasting my time reporting this knowing that Akai prefers to implement useless features instead of repairing/improving simple things like this one to make the workflow logic and pertinent, but here I go anyway:

• When I press the Solo button on a Track after applying a Track Mute on it (I do this for review purposes), the Solo button overrides the Track Muting. It is therefore impossible to properly review Track Muting when the Solo button is pushed.

Please note that this was, once again, possible on the MPC 1000. Yet, another thing that was disregarded when programming MPC Software's "legendary MPC workflow".

On the MPC 1000, it Step Edit Mode, it's easy to hear what you're going when detuning a note with "T:" (for example), because when you highlight the note, you can hit the "F6 / Play" button on the screen to hear the effect of the modified parameter.

On the MPC Software, when I detune a note using "Modifier / NT Tuning:", I can't hear the effects of my parameter unless I hit the global "Play' button to make the Sequence play, which is really annoying when this particular note comes only once at the end of my Sequence.

The great Step Edit is gone. OK.

But...

Why isn't there a way to preview a note when detuning it with "Modifier"? Even when I click on the note with my mouse on the grid, the original tune of the note plays! WHY!?

(This and a handful of other things are deficient, like not being able to position a note on a specific tick using the Grid... On the 1000's Step Edit, this was really easy...)

Hi,

The "Loop: ON/OFF" on the hardware screen gets stuck to ON or OFF depending on the last change you made. So let's say I'm on Seq 33, and I put "Loop: OFF", well... When I go to another Sequence, "Loop" stays on "OFF"!

WTF!?!? Why do the little simple bugs like that NEVER get solved?

On the software, it's all good, though.

Error loading MPC project??

i usually set my ren to autosave my projects.
and one day my ren crashes after that my project i used to work on would not open saying 'Error loading MPC project'
my project i worked on for days has just gone like that. im so angry

this happen to me after i updated to 1.5.

and please akai, i dont need any feature update. just fix the ren to work properly without crashing.
im scared to start working on my mpc ren now...

Copying bars from one sequence to a new blank sequence in 'Sequence Edit Mode' doesn't work properly. It only copy's some of the tracks.

i think I've found a bug on exporting multi timbal synths like omnisphere were i had a instrument on each channel and when exported a few instruments were combined on the same wav when i selected individual export.

From what I see, it only copies tracks that have midi notes on them. Are all of the tracks you are trying to copy used in the sequence you are trying to copy from?

Multitimbral export is not supported at the moment! You have to solo the tracks to export them individually, one at a time!
