Correct me if I wrong with my thoughts.

and it will work with my 2000xl ?

also I need CF card only max memory 1gb ?

Your links are not working.

If it is a cheap IDE-CF adapter, then it should work.

It will need MPC2000XL OS version 1.20.

And that OS version will only let you format the memory card to a maximum of 1GB, though you can use larger memory cards, it will just not use the extra space.

It will be non-hotswap, which means that you need to have the memory card inserted into the reader before you turn on the MPC, and must leave it in the MPC until you turn the MPC off.

No idea if the card reader you are buying will fit the chassis in your link, it might, but you might also be able to hack a floppy drive chassis to mount the card reader to.
