HI lads is it possible to copy a track for instance a sample to put a low end filter on without effecting the original sample,,,im stumped with this,,,i can go long way round but surely there is a quick easy way to do dis

i think if you copy the track to the same sequence and add an effect to it you won't be able to hear it unless you mute the original track. i could be wrong, but that's what happened to me when i tried to filter a sample under the original one. haven't tried recording the same pattern on a different track and adding an effect. that might work since it's not a copy.

The way I usually do it is I copy the track and duplicate the program and change the program for my new track to that new program and add fx as usually in the track mixer. If anyone have a better way without duplicating programs do share.
