OS 1.2 - Sounds Triggered When Data Is Saved?

I have a 2000xl MCD with OS 1.2 - my issue is this:

When I save to my compact flash card my MPC glitches and triggers all midi data (specifically sounds in my ASR). I rocked a classic XL ZIP with OS 1.14 in the same exact set up for years and never had this issue before. Can anybody offer any insight? I've searched & can't come across anything.

To clarify my MPC midi outs go to an ASR 10 on channel 1 (other linked gear in the same chain) and my DAW on channel 2. A Korg Triton goes to the midi in of my MPC to be used as a controller.

Is it an OS issue or some setting I overlooked? I can't figure this one out. All help is appreciated.

it is truly a glitch - it only happens sometimes, i can't recreate it.

though i think its usually happened when i've hit save then maybe accidentally hit another button or something.

i love it when this happens.
