so i was wanting to make an arpeggiator sound with my MPC equiped with JJOS2XL, piece of cake except that it doesn't have an UP mode that goes 3 octaves, but this OS offers so many possibilities, so i started messing with patterns to find a work around.
I could make a pattern that's just like an ARP going 3 octaves, it syncs with my tempo, so it's all great, it was my first time with pattern, and now i realize if you make let's say Pad 09 to play a pattern (in the main screen) then all your tracks and sequences will have that pad do the same... is that normal behaviour ? i thought a pad assigned to a pattern would have been track or sequence specific... it makes going to my other sequences (songs) difficult unless i reserve a few pads just for that and never use them again on any sequence...
Francis.
