Before I sell my 1000, I have a question.

I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules here and if so, I apologize in advance. I have an MPC 1000 I am going to sell but I want to price it properly. What would you sell it for? Specs-JJOS 4.99, upgraded pad sensors with fat red pads and a glow green pad that I'm throwing in as well. San Disk 16 gig cf card with a little over a gig with mostly drums I bought from this site(the pack with east coast phat, deconstructed RZA....) Other cf card is the original AKAI 32 meg and it’s empty. 128 internal ram...I put on wood sides and I also have the original red ones as well. A Gig Skins carrying case, two instrument cables and I would be only shipping PayPal withi the U.S...Shipping would be free ground. The condition is very nice with the exception of a loose tap tempo button but it works fine. Has the original blue face(oh and of course power cord and usb cable)....Very minor scratches but it is in great shape. I could post a pic of it later on this thread if it’s allowed. Please be honest with me as I have been with you and I don’t wanna rip anyone off. I don’t want to sell it as it’s been with me since 2006 but it’s gotta go....Thank you in advance:)

well where are you going to try and sell it? ebay?

if so, look at the completed listings and see what people are actually paying when auctions end. Don't go by the buy it now price...


now, I think maybe you could look in the neighbourhood of 400-500 bucks because of all the extras and I think realistically you can sell it around there.... but it all depends on if a person willing to pay that comes around.

Thanks for the quick response. I've checked ebay a bit in the last couple days and I've noticed ones in mint condition with internal hd’s and updated lcd’s are at the buy it now for around seven hundred...I was thinking around five and some change so you confirmed a bit what I was thinking. I still haven’t seen the end bid for these so it’s hard to say. I've checked craiglist and people are not being fair selling with no upgrades for seven hundred. I'll wait for the bidding to stop and maybe sell it here if anyone is interested. I also thought I could make more just selling the parts but those aren’t selling as well as I thought they would either. Truth is, my buddy has a 3000 so I'm gonna be putting the bread towards that. Then I'll come back I'm sure with a bunch of dumb questions Thanks again and I'll upload a pic of the package deal a little later.
