Don't know what he uses or how he makes it, but I do remember that once I was reading some of his posts and he was saying that it's made of a thin wood. Maybe he meant a wood veneer? Who knows. But certainly it's not on top of the case, as it can be seen in many pictures on his Instagram profile. No case under it, just plain wood (veneer). Some examples: 1, 2, 3, 4.

Have to wonder how sturdy/durable it would be though, if thin wood panel only, and not a thin veneer over the real metal casing, or wood coloured/textured paint as I was originally convinced it was.

I suppose that all the bits you bang on are mounted to the chassis though, not the face plate, so the strength of it may not matter that much.

I thought his wood MPC60 side panels were awesome, exactly what I wanted and the way they should be, but if this is for real, it is some next level shit!!!
