Renaissance audio interface (no sound through monitors)

I just purchased the Renaissance and am using it with a Mac (currently running Maverick). I have been to preferences in the Mpc software and Sound preferences on my Mac and can see where both give me the option to select the Renaissance as my outgoing sound but it always defaults back to the computer speakers. Any tips?

Yep, go without system sounds through the Renaissance audio interface until they get support for Mavericks happening in a future update, or some sort of workaround to get it working.

Or revert to a pre-Mavericks OS.
