Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

I installed the Ren sounds and expansion sounds on my main drive without giving thought to putting it on my dedicated secondary drive for all my sounds. How easy would it be to move all the sounds to the other drive or is it easier to delete and then install them fresh. I don't want to cause a problem if the Ren looks for a file that it can't find due to me moving it. I'm thinking it should be ok but I want to be sure. Thanks

I think you can just move them, then change the location if software, where it scans for VSTs. Worked for me

Not quite.

You can't just move them without some changes. I posted up how to do this a long time ago. I'll find the thread and link it back here.

AKAI needs to fix this in the next release. You need to be able to install the DVD samples onto a secondary drive during the installation.
