My guess is that it MIGHT work with MPC-2000 series, but even if that's the case, MPC-2000 cannot use more than 32MB.
I'm 100% sure that those two RAMs won't give you extra 32MB.

Use 1 stick of ram in the mpc, keep the other as extra in case you ever need it.

I've just checked the 2000XL user guide, and Lamp is right. One 32MB SIMM can be used on one slot, and leave other slot empty, that should work.
I thought that the same pair of SIMMs had to be used for both slots, like two 16MB SIMMs, but one 32MB SIMM should work too.
But, if I remember correctly (old days of Mac SE/30), a 32MB SIMMs were very expensive, even compared to a 16MB SIMMs.

I used to use 2x16 in my 2kxl then switched to 1x32 and I keep the 2x16 now as back up just incase.
