Changing a 2 beat-count sequene to 6 beat-count, how to avoi

I just bought a mpc-500.
Im starting with a simple beat, "start"(2beat-counts): some drums and snare, then I copie that sequence, rename it to "corose" and change the beat-count to 6, I want a piano on top of the drum and snare. But now my drum and snare stops after 2 beat-counts while the piano plays on.
So my question is, how do i loop the previous tracs on the sequence when the beat count is raised, how to awoid those empty beat-counts?

You should use a COPY function somewhere in your machine to do that instead. Copy your 2 bars and add them at the end of that beat. That would make it 4 bars, and so on. Check your manual for copying sequences.

I was looking to this too. I know how to copy the sequences however that part he mentioned "how do I loop previous tracs" is what I don't see the option for to avoid that empty space.

Sequence 1

track 1 - I create a 2 bar loop for a kicks

If I start creating track 2 and change my mind by extending the bar count from 2-4, (in the sequence option), it will create the empty space on track 1 from bars 3-4.

If I just want those same 2 bars from track 1 to loop twice instead of replaying it or adding something different can that be done? Or is this what you was saying to copy as in copy then paste bars 1 & 2 to bars 3 & 4.

Or another way to ask this question. Can you change bar counts for each individual track in the same sequence? I think this would be called a "plyloop" when I use my Triton to sequence.

track 1- 2 bars
track 2- 4 bars
track 3- 2 bars

and so on all while remaining staying in Sequence 1..

No, sequence length is for the sequence, all tracks in the sequence share the same length.
