Have 2,5k with the free JJOS

I have a couple of drumpacks on my mac that I wanted to transfer to the MPC via USB. I have an 808 pack transferred, but the MPC won't play any of its sounds..

Then I have another pack and the MPC only plays a couple of them. (The majority of the drums wont get any sound out of the MPC)

At first I thought they wouldnt play because their filename was to long. But after I changed the files to shorter names, the problem remains.

I think all the files are 16 bit. But I can't seem to find any info on that.

44khz, 16bit, pcm wav.

On your computer resave all problem sounds into the above format and they should playback fine inside the mpc afterwards.

It's got to be Lamp said. Only other possibility if they are 16/44 is that you went over 16 characters, in that case it will see for example 16 chops as the same sample and only play the first chop.

You can even use iTunes set 16/44 as the import preference, it will then be the right click/convert context menu preference, if you don't have an app that does bit rate/bit depth conversions.
