I prefer watching dan going though features of the product, than the marketing vids... Straight up, the marketing should of been just him going through features.. Or one take vids of maybe a Arab short routine.. Or even Better Dave fingers... Get some interesting Live performers in a wide variety of genres doing one take no edit performances... Basically how MAschine is marketed..

I dont care for expansions, as a sample alot, but sometimes use sample packs for drum layers and do realise the importance of expansion/sample packs as a starting/selling point for the product.. The only gripe i have with the expansion packs is file sorting.. Especially when browsing just samples... Quickest way around it would be a text filter search... I like the way you can navigate through your hardrive.. Without having to add it to a tagging system. Because 3 party sample packs already sort their samples in folders..
The plus side of this hybrid setup is that even if they bring out new rens and studios and other controllers, the software will work with legacy and new controllers.... They should always support their legacy line from now on(From ren studio to the future) And do What Ni arn't doing... Sell the Controllers only and make the software free..The more people using the software the more potential for them to sell hardware.
paying the $1299 premium means your supporting the company to be able to grow and see potential. You dont feel bad or regretful because you realise the effort and work that it takes to make something like this... Even if it the product ends up not working for you...
