Thank you for the confirmation master-ceo. My iPhone 4 is not really up to installing iOS 7.

No problem. I'm missing out on that and inter-app audio because of my hate for iOS7. lol Plus I can't use iOS without iFile so I need my Jailbreak.

I've learned to accept iOS 7 but I have the short lived iPad 3 so I've taken a performance hit. That's how I know to not even bother on my iPhone 4 or Audiobus is done...

yeah... I've dabbled with cck with a steinberg ur28m with bm2.. bm2 is really fuking good on ipad mini.. (makebeats on the plane yay!!!) I haven't tried it with a pad controller though.. Or a interface that has midi in ports aswell..(use it with mpc1k)

I have a rme uc and it doesn't do class compliant mode.. But the ucx does.. I think rme have released a total fx mix app for ios too.. So you can control/mix the ucx dsp mixer via ipad...

beat maker 2 is a good bargin at 4.99

Hell, now with my 4000 and it's rotary encoder issues (awaiting repair that i will perform when i receive the encoder) i use my 4000 in combo with Beatmaker2 just for the pads ...

I enjoy BM2 a lot and certain functions are really advanced and some better than on ANY standalone MPC with or without JJOS or whatever OS.
Chopping for instance has never EVER been so easy, clear and fun before.
Not too mention instant loading times and an easier menu structure.

Wouldn't it be nice if the 4K could be used as the controller, the Ipad as the screen and part processing unit and then the audio data send to the 4K for final effects and filtering and such ....

You could control a bunch of functions on the 4K with Lemur. And have the screens update with real time visual feedback with bi directional MIDI. But would need to make a template. You could use the much cheaper TouchOSC or MIDI Designer Free or Pro. But Lemur is the only one I can can confirm has full Sysex support to be able to externally control all the functions on the 4k that respond to external controllers.

And yeah man no doubt, if BM2 just had soundfont or .sfz multi sample solution, it would literally do everything a 4k does with a minimum of 1GB RAM looking at recent iPads. At times I use BM2 like a touch screen Recycle and just save to folders. Not bad considering even at full price it cost 1/10th of Recycle's price, and that's just one element of BM2.

I was really pleased when they added the quick load sidebar toggle for getting sounds on pads.

Meanwhile iMaschine is still lo res and too limited and iMPC assumes I would not need folders for my samples. :WTF:

There's a thread here where a user is already working on a nice JJ-XL template for Lemur. I haven't started mine for either JJ or the 4k. Lemur is so deep it is going to require studying the list of functions I can map, then determine how many pages of controllers I want, and really draw it out on pen and pad first.

tsutek, is already really rolling on his Lemur Template.
