I just got the MPC studio and was wondering if anyone had experienced a similar problem to what I'm seeing. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I used the discs provided and can only get the MPC software to install. The Bank disc doesn't seem to help. I updated the app to 1.5 and also found a separate download for The Bank installer, but it still gives me nothing. It goes through an apparent installation process but at the end when I open the MPC, change a track from Drum to Plugin, I see none.

Just as I was writing this I noticed there is a little red "warning" indicator beside the plugin selector. I can't find anything about this in the manual--in fact it shows an "instrument" section, which doesn't exist in my software.

Also, if I go to the Library and choose Factory Content I see a folder for "The809" with a Samples folder, but none of the samples can be loaded to a pad or listened to. There is another folder named "TheBank" which contains a set of Samples folders, but once again, none of them seem to work.

The MPC works for me beautifully otherwise, just no 809 or The Bank.

I'm running this on a MBP 2.33GHz Core2duo 3GB, with Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

Did you run the updater and update the expansion pack plugins?

The installation discs contain 32 bit versions, you need to update them to work in the default 64 bit operation of MPC Software 1.5, or run MPC Software in 32 bit mode.
