I did the crossgrade from Komplete 9 to Komplete 9 Ultimate for half price.


Also used deep discounts and coupon to come up on UA's Fatso jr/sr plug for my UA Satellite. only $99 (usually priced at $299) love this plug.

I didn't get K9U, but I finally decided to get that K9 upgrade for $75. I just couldn't let it pass. I actually was only using Elements since I got the MPC studio until about a month ago when I found Komplete '7' new in the box for $270. Figured I'd cop it it just so that when I decided to jump to Komplete 9, i could do so as an upgrade. Hell< i was gonna wait until K10 but since all NI VSTs are 50% off til Dec 9th, I said what the hell and ordered upgrade.

maybe now I will be good until K11, unless they do another hard to refuse deal on K10 at some point lol

Honestly I hate the current Komplete install method.
It's time consuming to install and takes up a unbelievable amount of drive space.

So you purchased K7 and went through the hours to install it, then you updated to K8 same thing again.
Then again when you went to K9.
They need to get rid of that multi-disk/hard drive installation and either just sell it to run from an included hard drive or make it simply upgrade the previous version.

Can't remember if it was K7 or K8 that something like disk #8 was corrupt and you would be that deep in the installation when you found out it couldn't go any further.
That's a whole lot of time gone to waste for sure.

Cleaning up too well . Didn't get a tracking # when I ordered mine on Monday so I hit them up today and got an email back saying :

"Unfortunately KOMPLETE 9 ULTIMATE UPG for K9 is currently out of stock. We expect
it to be back in stock in 4-8 weeks. Please let us know, if you´d like to wait or
if you´d like to cancel your order and try finding a reseller who has this product
in stock."

So I called every retailer in my area and all were sold out . Then I called Guitar Center and apparently the whole fckin' chain is sold out nation wide .

NI is making some serious sh!t . . . . and I have to wait 4-8 weeks for my sh!t .

yeah that had me too... why the hell didn't they allow for that... make the shit .......... standalone hahaha.

See . . . now this is where I gotta talk sh!t . They told me that I'd have to wait 4-8 weeks on Wednesday and then went on to push that sale super hard until the next Monday knowing they were back ordered as fck .

I wonder when whoever the poor soul who ordered his sh!t last minute on that Monday is gonna get his ?
