Its alright but the last paragraph aint alright. You probably did not notice, but why "those blacks" used instead of saying "those producers"? You see, that makes you racist because boundries is all you see instead of none. I'm not accusing you of anything just pointing out what you do to provoke things.

Yeah, you gotta be able to phrase a statement like that in a way that people won't get it twisted. Like if you're trying to say "Akai knowingly tries to appeal to a certain consumer that would pay a celebrity any mind" just say that.

And if you invoked the McDaonald's analogy to point out companies do contrived marketing based on race or even trying to appear NOT racist, you have to phrase that very clearly too.

Nobody here minds real talk , they welcome it, but you have to be specific with no ambiguity so people are clear on what you're saying.

It is either one of the French crew, that guy used to refer to people as 'my friends' all the time, or 'my friend' is a translation from a common French phrase (mon ami).

Yeah, it's common in Spanish speaking countries as well to use the phrase so often.

But maybe France...we already got Sally and his extreme enthusiasm.

I agree. Encoders is the worst thing in studio. But I think I've just got used to them.

Yes and I didn't like the way the buttons are crammed together on that side. And before the double pressing of the button upgrade one handed shifting was not easy. It's kinda sad how many times they have failed with this whole new line. I'm going to go post my ren in the sell your mpc part of this forum. I'll have to bundle with some vst's to sell the damn thing.

I find it odd how my description can be found more offensive than AKAI's stereotyped usage of those producers in their numerous videos and print ads. I merely used "black" in my description to clearly illustrate how AKAI portrayed those producers.

Am I the only one who felt that the blacks in the video were exploited? It seems as such. Did no one notice the over-the-top dancing and bouncing, angry expressions and "hip" garments that were used to promote AKAI's MPC Ren/Studio in the name of black hip hop culture?

Yet, somehow "I" and not AKAI is thought to be a racist? This is upsetting, my friends!

I don't think any body really cares that they used the darker hip hop producers brotha. I think most thought they chose them on how we felt they ranked in favored producers. I never thought once of their race Holmes. I don't care if mcdonalds or nike promote to a particular race more then the other. If I did I would prob think differant. More like.... "What! they think us crackers don't need brainwashing?!"

If they had the biggest clown Jesus up there banging on mpc it would not have mattered to me one bit. I was only googly eyed over the new toy I have wanted for some time.
