Hey, that's right.... they should drop it now, when parents and people are NOW getting Christmas gifts. By Xmas, many will already have their gifts for others, or for themselves...

Then drop 1.7 right before NAMM... (Wishful thinking) LOL

Well if those kids know anything about MPCs and that was what they were after they will be a lot of Maschine Studios for sale in January.

The kids who will be happy with the Studio are kids who wanted FL Studio to have a dedicated controller.
Maschine has a lot more in common with the workflow of FL Studio than any MPC.

indeed but keep in mind most haven't touched either. and the machine has more "lights and pretty colors"

i can't stand the sequencer in machine or how you build groups/kits/programs. what ever they call em.

Yep, but "it's pretty" so some feel they will make better beats on it....

I like machines and MPCs and can make beats on either, but I prefer MPC. That's just my choice and I won't knock others for what works for them.

*Now break us off with 1.6 LOL

Make beats my friends!

I can tolerate it when doing certain types of music but I couldn't survive with it as my only tool.
As we can now see NI has no desire to change it so we can only expect it to keep getting developed in the current direction.

I had really hoped that v2 would bring some unexpected progression in the sequencer but that boat has sailed.
