Hi Guys

i tried searching for this topic but failed :/

i have got the mpc studio and installed update(1.5) and the bank and the 809..
on my asus laptop..

im kinda a newbie to this mpc and im stuck on this problem when playing back my samples back as a live song remix.

i run into problems when i try to make a breakdown to a new part of the song, the samples overlap and doesnt sound right with the timeing..

is there a way to make a sample on the pad cancel out the others, so i get only that sample playing..

or am i just cutting the samples the wrong way??
Please help me :WTF: cause this is holding me back bigtime!!

greetings from Denmark :)

You could re-save the original PGM with a new name after making your settings.

It's pretty easy stuff. If you want the pad the cut itself off set polyphony 1 = mono. If you want more than one voice/sound to trigger off multiple presses of that one pad use poly.

If you want any one pad to cut off one or more pads assign them to same mute group.
