Track out mixer MPC2500 Question?

OK, heres my first question ever on this site that I come to often for answers. My current setup is Mpc 2500, Stanton turntable, Stanton smx.201 two chanel mixer and an old Tascam US-122. Yes my gear is older lol. My question is what type of mixer should I buy to track out all 8 outs of the MPC. Im using FL Studio, but I need a way to track every track out at one time because the interface I have only does one at a time and that is so time consuming. My main concern is getting these tracks outed all at the same time. Any suggestions would be highley appreciateed. BTW, would the mixer have to be firewire, usb, or would any mixer with atleast 8 ins work. Yes I am confused. HELP!!!!

The Mackie Onyx range sounds perfect for what you want as it kills two birds with one stone. It works with Firewire.

I much prefer the hands-on control of my 1220i over a regular audio interface. It's also plug and play with a Mac.

If you're on a budget, you might want to look into the allen & heath ZED mixers. they have a 8+ channel mixers with USB connection to a computer for recording the inputs (each channel has a rec bus switch so you can record any combination of tracks in one go). Unfortunately it only records a single stereo track at a time tho. But they're really cheap considering the feature set.

Yeah, of course.. But that price difference between a 8-track A&H ZED compared to a 8-track Onyx is abt 300 dollars, also a consideration..

How's the latency on your Onyx when using all the output channels simultaneously? I've always had a bad karma with firewire interfaces and latency when using lot of simultaneous outputs.

EDIT: Re-read the original post. Apologies, didn't realize the OP needed to multitrack all the 8 outs into separate tracks.. You might do well going with the Mackie's.

I know that you're looking for a mixer specifically but I use the sh*t out of a Saffire 40 interface. Rock-solid and I've never had ONE single issue with it on PC or Mac.

The Onyx boards are legit but they send the signal to the DAW PRE-FADER, which means that your fader positions will not matter to the recorded signal. It's a lot like turning on Pre-Fade Listen on a board... you can still get your EQ recorded, though.

I know it's not a huge deal but, to me, it was so I'm here to spread the knowledge!
