Customize the Plugin Automapping?

Are there any plans to let users manually map the Q-Links to plugin parameters?

Some kind of utility to allow this would be amazing as the automapping is far from ideal.

I'm the verge of moving over to Ableton Push completely because of its ability to customize the parameter/knob assignments.

1. Load your plug-in.

2. Make sure it's assigned track is selected and press PROG EDIT.

3. Click on the drop-down arrows to select the parameter you want to use. You can even record automation!

I'm looking to customize which knobs control which parameters and the order in which they appear on the hardware screen.. ideally also the text that appears on the hardware screen.

Unless I'm mistaken this totally isn't possible right now, right?

That's exactly what I am doing. I can change the parameters and see them changing respectively on the LCD, too.

As far as I know this is only possible for instrument plug-ins. Not possible for FX (insert / send) at all, which I think you were looking for.

CORRECTION: It works for FX, too, actually. Still, you can't record Q-Link or FX automation, only instrument parameters plus "built-in" stuff (envelopes etc.) can be recorded.

I'm not sure when, or how it happened but the qlinks are very mappable now. (Since version 1.5 perhaps??)

I know FX automation isn't fully implemented but you can set it up on the qlinks and play it live (I don't think it records yet though??) Any vsti is super mappable and you can set it up exactly how you want fairly easy.

Last month someone here, the name escapes me now, was uploading maps of known vsti's (Massive, Imposcar, Diva, etc...) which had every feature mapped to the qlinks in a very organized and intuitive layout.

Changing the text is something different though, not yet possible.

It does´nt record these moves, I confirm that info I´m waiting for it since 1.0

I pray it will be with us in the next update

Can someone please tell me if it's now possible to configure the knob mapping with effects since the last update? (I'm still on Snow Leopard so haven't upgraded yet)
