Timing correct question

I programmed a beat, I started with a simple kick clap and open hi hats, using 1/8 timing correct function, with a swing about 55%
ok, great,
then, switched to 1/16 grid for some shakers...

ok, GREAT,
then, I programmed some percussions using 1/32 mode.

ok great but not so great,

How do I do if I want to apply different swing on my shakers? If I go back to 1/16 grid...my percussions will be timing corrected on a 1/16 grid, which I don't want...

I wish I could apply a swing only on my shaerz, without touching anytheng else, is that possible?

1/16-3 ... try that and forget the swing.

or you know what? do the snare at your 1/8 to keep it locked on the 2 and 4... but the kick try and do that with 1/16-3 .. dont put any swing on any of those... but then record the shakers or hats with normal 1/16 and apply swing like 60 or 64% to the shakers

Yes.

You can select a single pad/sound to apply Timing Correct/Swing to it after it is recorded into a sequence, or make the settings you want and then record it into the sequence at those settings.


Record the pad/sound into your sequence, then in the Timing Correct screen, hit the pad to select that particular sound, then use the Move Existing function to apply Timing Correct/Swing to just that sound.

Or, record the other pads/sounds into your sequence, change the Timing Correct/Swing settings to what you want for this particular pad/sound, then overdub with the settings you desire for that pad/sound.
