It's been awhile since I've been on my Ren. Been using the Maschine Studio alot lately/2.0 software. Anyways, one of the things I love about it, is you can store your fav sounds in their browser, is it at all possible to do this in the ren yet? If so can someone explain, thanks

if not, Akai this is something I'm sure many users would really want.

What do you mean by fav sounds? As in sample wav files or plugin vst preset sounds? or just Plugin instruments?

Ren browser works by browsing the hard drive direct.. So you dont need to import your directory or files and tag them..IF your organised on the folder directory level it's all good..
The problem with that is you can't refine your search while browsing like maschine...

I agree that a tagging files system would be good.. id prefer a filter text search system..

What I mean, is if I save a bunch of Vsti presets from a Vsti, can I see them in the Mpc browser? And just load them like that, vs. having to use the drop down window, load a vsti, and pick out the song that way.

Nevermind, I'll just use what works, and thats using Maschine 2 as a Sound Module in the Mpc, NI is alot more developed when it comes to tagging, and finding sounds/instruments. Perfect Match with the two..

I'm not sure how that is possible if the host isn't. No idea?
