Installation help please. MPC REN expansion packs

I bought a Mpc Ren and I installed it and all. It works but for some reason I can't load up the rest of the discs (809, Wub, Noise) won't. My computer doesn't even acknowledged them. Any tips or info?

Your computer can not read the expansion pack installation discs?

Or it can read them, and you have installed them, but you can't load them within MPC Software as plugins?

My computer read the installation and bank ones but it won't read the rest of the discs.

You probably got defective discs. This has been a common issue with Mac computers. You may have to contact Akai to get replacements! Not sure how it works!

Interesting that they post them in the public like that being that Studios only come with 2 of them and users have to buy the other 2, and the Element doesn't come with any I believe!

Not sure, is it tied to the installation/copy protection, might only let you install/open/use the two that come with the Studio, if you own the Studio?


The MPC Element/Essentials has it's own expansion packs...

MPC Element Customers will receive three sound sets with their MPC Essentials download. Elements of Dystopia, Elements of UK Dance, and Elements of House are all included.

I don't think so! As far as I see, when you unlock the software, it's only unlocking the software. It never makes you unlock the actual expansion plugins. I'm not sure, though! Very interesting!
