Using track mute group in JJ OSXL on MPC1000

Hi,

I am currently testing track mute group with OSXL on mpc1000.

1) Suppose that A1, A2, A3 are in the same group1 ,I want that when I hit :

A1 :

A1 => no mute
A2 => mute
A3 => mute

A2 :

A1 => mute
A2 => no mute
A3 => mute

...

How to?

2) An other question about track mute, how can I do to play the track only one time instead of 2 hiting the pad as a drum fill?

I do not know if you have this sorted yet or not and this should be in JJOS Forum.

When you set the pad mute to a group they mute/play as a group so you would
get this result.

Group 1 pads A1, A2, A3 result will be
A1 => mute
A2 => mute
A3 => mute

in fact I have used before for a long time a korg PA2x arranger and there was possibility on keyboard to change variation.

So I want to produce same thing on MPC, It hasn't been very long I have discovered the mute group function but it's not really the same thing than on keyboard. It mutes/unmutes the full group.

Does someone have experience about this mute group function ?

I guess you'd set it up as Target, not Group. If you want whole program act like this than program has to be MONO, with POLY voice overlap.
