mpc essentials question

I just got the mpc essentials for christmas I was wondering though is there anyway to sotp that tap tempo light from blinking that shit is annoying

Does it really bother you that much? You don't need it as a visual feedback for tempo aswell? Alot of the time can help out if the metronome isn't quite loud enough, or what your tryna to tap out can mask or wash out the click/metronome?
