My XL's data dial is going out, ok, I know that's an easy fix, but my main problem is that when I chain sequences, sounds assigned to 'note off' or midi information is non-existant. If I have a bassline that's note off, everything else will play, except the bass... now, if I stop the sequence (cuz I'm confused that the bassline dissappeared) and play it again, the bass comes back. Switch sequences again, and voila, note off/midi sounds are gone again. It plays a millisecond of the sample and then stops, almost like a serious decay. My MPC only does this when it's been on for a few hours (anything more than an hour, not 5/10/24 hours!
) . I don't want to take it in the shop because they may not notice it, and I don't wanna shell out $80 an hour for someone to turn my MPC on, re-pack it, and tell me nothings wrong. What should I do, just sell the MP and grab another one? I have a strong personal relationship with my MP, a new one just won't be the same.
