Possibly Beatdiggerjazzcat, I think he was selling those readers on eBay, and has posted some of his ASR fan mod info on here before.

Is there any reason it can't be done easily, if your ASR has the SCSI interface?

You might have to spend some time searching to find the exact same card reader, to try to ensure that it will actually work.

It looks to be nearly the same as the Delock 91640, but without the upper PCMCIA-ATA slot...

Possibly either made by Delock for someone else, or made by the same Taiwanese OEM supplier that makes them for Delock.

You would need the card reader and a SCSI-IDE/ATAPI bridge, so don't expect to get out of it cheaply, especially if paying someone that does it as a business to supply a ready to go solution.

Which card reader, the one in the ASR10 in the photos above, or the similar one that I posted a photo of?

The one you posted.

I wouldn't write off that reader not working though. The guy that sold it was pretty dishonest and the reader didnt work in any other samplers, which it was advertised too.

So he could have just sold me a broken reader
