Broken 2K

Hey,

I haven't done a search for this topic but I was hoping someone out there might have some info.

My buddy told me he has a broken MPC 2000. He said the screen is losing pixels (which I know how to fix) and that when you power up the machine all the lights stay lit and nothing is presented on the screen.

Anybody have experience with a broken MPC like this and have a solution?

please elaborate...aside from straight up replacement, i don't think its ever been done.

I know how to replace the screen.

cool - that's about the only fix there is.
bear in mind that replacements are not cheap or easy to come by these days, though.

It is sort of nice to ressurrect an MPC from broken status back to business though
