Resampling - what I learned in 2013

Set the master volume to 0 and use the program pad volume to get the level. Push the volume up till you hear it get distorted and then back it off slowly till you don't hear the distortion anymore to get the hottest signal.

I suppose resampling can be considered sampling yourself...

Well, we all take some sound and flip it to make a piece of music. And we all hit a point in producing a song where we can't take that sound any further with the same approach. Well then I say sample what you have done to see how much further you can flip that. It's just the next level. You might just find some gold right there!

Three awesome sounds are much better than six mediocre ones. Warp and modulate each one for all it's worth before introducing the next sound. You'll find that you'll actually have to trim a song down to keep it under 8 minutes.

Put any sample on a pad. Set that pad to 16 level + sample start. Set the Q-Link to pitch. Go crazy on it. Record a bunch of sequences. Pick out the best. Resample it.
