I just made a beat, using one instance of nexus, once instance of predator, the rest a few programs with samples. I saved my project when I was done. When I re-open the project its like it saved half way through when I was making the beat so my beat was lost.

Also having problems where occasionally my mpc hardware is being recognized by my mac, and the mpc software, but no buttons or anything on the hardware work, I have to un plug, replug, restart my computer, i use a separate interface so i turn that off and on too, eventually it starts working again. Usually seems to happen if I use the mpc software without the Ren attached, then reattach the Ren is when it doesn't usually work, but still happens other times

I've learned my lesson. I wait a year before upgrading anything that isn't already broken, gives the developers time to get the bugs out using consumers as a large scale beta test. Exception: MPC software gets updated as soon as a new version is available

I've started upgrading Cubase at the X.5 intervals. The full X.0 version comes out and then a year later they offer a X.5 for a small fee and thats when I move. So this last time I went from 6.5 to 7.5. Just tired of being the beta tester for everyone and would like to get some music done.

NEVER upgrade any OS or software that you need if it works fine and allows you to get your job done.

Learnt my lessons with different OS X and IOS versions that ALWAYS mess up something when doing a major version upgrade....
