Hi ! i was wondering if anyone has tryed the hammer action keys and the weighted keys..which is closest to a real piano? i've only tryed semi weighted keys and i dont like them

Hammer-action gets you pretty close... I'm not a fan of either now that I have moved on from "classic" piano playing. Nothing is going to feel like the "real thing."

I've been using keyboards and synths for so long that I'm kinda spoiled by simple plastic keys. None of the extra effort is needed.

I like hammer action, they feel like a baby grand keys. My new Casio keyboard is touch sensitive like pads on an MPC. They feel akward because the keys are just plastic and no type of hammer action but the sound they produce really makes up for it. Touch them softly and it sounds soft, bang on them like roaches crawling on the keys and they sound loud. Very convincing too.

I think I ll take a keyboard with aftertouch and hammer-action(if there exists) just for play my other synths
