Personally I feel that even if my ren have been running smooth sins 1.1, I hope for a update with features that people really been asking for. A new midi controller at this point would make no sense. And I just noticed that it's one day before the winter NAMM...

Anyone who think its a new hardware standalone mpc?

A new Karaoke machine? MPC branded flip flops? The Element upgraded to 2 tracks?!

Whatever it is it's probably nowhere near as "BIG" as Nukai are claiming.

Looks like MPC pads on a black plastic machine. Probably a Ren LE.

At first I thought that it couldn't be a new REN already but they are really trying to hype this cr@p up so it could be. I just want better software for my Ren and its overdue. At this point I say whatever just show me the goods.

Another freakin controller and the software is still sub par. SMH. If they spend the money on more programmers instead of manufacturing then they will have the baddest product in pro audio for beat production. But nah...the world need another subpar controller to use as paper weights. Hahaha. I'm paying my taxes and in comes the NI Maschine Studio after I recoup from the tax hit.

This.

But without significantly improved software, not a good look. Also would hope that the controller capabilities would be updated / upgraded too. But for me, no matter what, if I still need to be tethered to my laptop, meh.

Yea.. I never noticed before, but yea it does look like pads...
I was thinking that if they do release a new MPC Ren.. it would have similar looking pads to the Max49 controlles.. and black hardware

but I think they are releasing a hybrid controller, which will work with computers and standalone.. also with much improved software for the current Renaissance..

what is going to be the price tag for this new toy... and to reduce cost will they remove the audio interface?

It will be interesting.. but what ever they do won't be a Maschine Killer... if anything Akai will be in the same conversation as Maschine if they get it rite this time around

This would be awesome. I'd be all in.
