what computer would be best to use with the mpc200XL

im starting to look for a computer to use with the MCP200XL
just woundering wich computer you guys would use, i see a lot of pep"s use mac's for music...

let me know what you guys think?
oh and what do you think about Audio desk?

What computer will be best is more dependant on what soft/hardware you want to use, not the MPC. Do a searh on the subject, this has been discussed again and again on this board.

I use a Mac G4 because Logic is my main instrument these days, but .... a lot of people use MPCs because they don't like computer sequencers.

It depends what you want the computer to do. Do you just want it to store & edit your samples because a cheap PC will be fine for that? Let us know what your plans are & you will probably get more advice.
