Whats up jah good to see you back.
I also would like to see a new or updated mpc Ren and what they have planned for the future of mpc software. I don't have my Ren anymore haven't had it for a few months now so I am excited to see what they announce.

Yeah, they're not in the same race to be fair.
It'd be like Usain Bolt running in a kids sports day race.

The bottom 2 pictures look like the Max keyboards.
The top picture looks like a more featured MPX, or maybe something similar dedicated to looping.
Looks like a DJ Controller! You can see what looks like a platter in one of the pics!

Yep, for sure, along with the Scratch button next to it.
Those patents are all pretty old anyway, most probably don't relate to whatever this new MPC product is going to be.

I have lurked a bit and take down notes to provide feedback to developers as needed. I mostly communicate with actual MPC users via PM, email, and other avenues....
I look forward to the announcement and Namm 2014...look forward to Audio Engineering School this Spring/Summer...

This is going to be like Toyota/Subaru collabo and their latest car. MAUDIO/AVID/AKAI collabo for a Protools powered MPC with two digital turntables. Yessssssssssss. lol.
Avid sold M-Audio and AIR to inMusic, they are in the same group as NuMark/Akai now...NuM-Audio.

My question is.. if they were to release a new controller that had the ability to work with the computer and standalone.. what would it be priced at
and what about people who generally make beats on the computer, what benefits would they have with standalone features..
because I know allot of people on here would love that, but me personally I'm a computer beat maker.. I am not touring or going to shows.. so I actually like the Renaissance Idea... so basically, would they release more then one model of the MPC. A hybrid version and usb controller one...

I asked this guy cause he's the sole beta tester of this new device. See how he's hiding.

They better fix this terrible ass software asap or the Rens going on CL, still not even close to working like a true mpc, I can't believe I kept this thing a year and a half now. This product is dead as hell.
It's so obvious where they went wrong. Taking their focus off the Ren and putting it on these dinky little new baby toy controllers they are losing all their brand loyalty, by ignoring Ren/Studio users, by not keeping us informed on future plans for the Ren/studio, basically shutting us out, their loyal customers. Big surprises they tell us, yea right. It pisses me off because the Ren could have been something sickkkk but its not even mediocre, such a wasted idea, right now waste of a product, the Ren is too pretty on the outside for such ugly on the inside.

the scratch button is probably just to hop between the normal scratching type mode when moving the platter... or when pushed it drops the track at the latest cue point when you release the platter... if I had to guess.
