Mpc Ren AAX?

Nondiscosure of features before a product release is a matter of policy not law. A Nondisclosure agreement is a legal agreement between the rights holder and a trusted employee, agent , individual or group. It's essentially a binding gag order between the parties.

Thanks for that, a very interesting read, but I don't really think the antitrust laws would apply in this situation, in terms of letting users know what they are actually working on for the next release. Seems that there would be a clear intention of including the features that they are working on, that it was not being announced to manipulate the market, and that could most probably be proven.

Possibly! But I guess it would likely depend on when they actually plan to release, if that is even decided!

There's a difference between hyping a fictitious nonexistant product to influence a market and announcing upcoming features. Releasing upcoming feature wouldn't fall into that category. I do a lot contract work for Hutchinson's run-flat line and they release upcoming enhancements all the time for their products. It's perfectly legal.

Yes, I agree with that, that is why I don't think that it would fall under the antitrust laws.

They could demonstrate that the features were being developed, and beta tested, if they had to be pulled before release.

Potential Vaporware peddlers = KickStarters. Most kickstarts do not become reality and keep looking for investors until it is finally dropped or only enough merchandise is made to satisfy the investors before the whole idea flops.

Think of the process in general. When researching for and developing a new product (whether material or not) involves campaigning for it - internal demonstrations, marketing, etc. If a company executive doesn't WANT to have everybody knowing something's coming up and thus keeping it under the radar, a lot of people can't tell anything.

I myself am cutting the voices answering machines and call centres for an agency, and I often process information or cut ads on new products to be released in some months. I have to sign NDAs too, then.

Has anyone tried using the Mpc ren in standalone, with Pro Tools and seeing if they will sync together? The thought crossed my mind,until aax for ren is released maybe this would be an option?
