MK1 has 1 foot pedal input and the Studio has 2. Not sure about MK2.

is there supposed to be a very fine slippery greasy film covering the top of the sensor and the back of the pads? Just a very fine amount. Maybe to keep the pads lubricated and to have a tad bit of a slick surface between pad and sensor?
Or do i need to be cleaning all this off so its like sparkling clean? With like alcohol or something? Kinda confused on what to do with all this...

Umm.... Completely different! I'm kinda floored of the difference. NO Question IMHO!

quick extra question... I got an 8 out board in this thing that i would like to transfer to my 2kxl. Is it the same exact board?
