Okay, so I make a project that contains programs and sequences that I creat. I work on it for awhile, then I save the project to my desktop. I quit the MPC software. A few hours later, I want to work more on the same project. I open the MPC software and try to load my saved project. When I double-click the red-squared little project icon, it says there's an error. Can't locate the project or something. So fine, I load all programs individually, and load all sequences. Everything is back to where it should be within the project.
Problem is, this project is still untitled. So now, in order to save it, I have to do "save as" again and re-name it all over again. So if I want to name it the same thing as what I've been calling it, then now I have two projects named the same thing. I'm afraid to just keep the newer version and get rid of the old one (which is an annoying way to do it anyways, but seems like my only option) because there may be data in the older version of the project that's necessary to load it again after I save, quit, and try to use it later.
Basically- what is an easy, step by step way to save an entire project, then be able to quit, restart, and continue to work on it without having to save it as something new and running into all these problems?
