Howdy,
I've being trialing patch phrases. I can chop and get a drumloop to loop perfectly and able to adjust tempo accordingly. Playing from the trim window is seemless. If you sequence the drum loop in a program there is always a small but noticeable gap between end of loop and sequence end. Ok, my workaround is for say a 2 bar loop is to make the first bar 4/4 TS and the second bar 15/16 TS. So this means the sequence skips a 1/16th note length, which makes the patched phrase play perfectly. i was trying this out initially with MPC tutors tute files for patched phrase. Now this is pretty good, however, when you save and recall your project you always have to go to TS and press do it again to re-activate the correct TS. Anyway this is sort of working out , now have fun in my hands to mold with tempo changes!

Stupid the 5000 can't calculate the bpm for you. Tiny bit of code if you tell it how many beats and bars the loop is.
