I cant run the MPC software update 1.6. Im using Mac OSX 10.6.8

Sorry, but support for 10.6.8 and under was dropped. Not sure if it's documented anywhere. But you will have to update the 10.7 minimum! Not sure if 10.6.9 was dropped as well!

Is in the minimum specs/requirements on the website...10.7-10.8.

Yeah. But still, it should be posted more explicitly for previous users. The webpage specs is cool for new customers looking to buy, IMO. But for current customer, the release notes would have been ideal!

sure i mean i ain't missing much anyway lol...also i got my setup working fine so don't want to lose that with some updates, learned that by now...
