The new free Mac OS mavericks has made scripting so easy I can do it 
You can do it to, it's pretty easy. I will post a screen shot soon but this is a heads up to give it a go.
So my automated script is a simple drop box affair that uses iTunes or what ever you want to convert files. I even made the yes no pop up window- along the likes of
You sure you wanna do that dog. Better not be some crappy YouTube mp3.
Go dig through some crates instead
Nah Do it dog
So this pops up when I drag files to drop box. I click do it dog and it opens it in iTunes and then converts it. Then gets it and copies it to another folder called output.
So now I have a automatic file conversion script and I do not have to do anything.
