Default all tracks to one setting (?)

Ok this is a brilliant feature in the 4k!

if your layering up tracks from an old song and want to be able to layer the sample bass with a hardware synth by setting the Part:B to MIDI output then:

move cursor to:Highlight (track): TR>OpenWindow> command: SHIFT+DEFAULT

and ALLl other patterns should use this settingas their track setting (the DEFAULT)

This eliminates the need to go though each pattern track by track (I know I can create (combine) to make a song) but I need this to be in pattern mode)

anyone tried this? all I get is WTF...

Is this not working, or what?,.. anyone uses this feature ?... was track: shift+default never implanted?.. effin eff ... this could have saved so much paper work

I would just change them individually. You must be be talking about quite a few layers. What sound module or keyboard are you using?

I´m actually talking about few old projects, some with 128 sequences in the song ..and having to change each of the track (quite a few tracks in each pattern as I like to layer the drums too) for each project is had labor .... that's when I remembered this gorgeous feature .. and I was all like: man the 4k is the bomb! ... but then nada ..

they implanted the window for this and everything..

i guess this is 4 new tracks, not allready recorded ones
