Well it is what it is. Anything else people have noticed that was fixed or improved off the record? List and describe it here.

I'm not even sure I'm going to install it so...

install it, if you don't like it you can go back to 1.5.

We'll I'm not going to use it, I haven't use my MPC for a few months. I probably won't again until it has full automation and group channel mixing (inserts on sub mixes or some other mixer fix). Right now I'm just using Cubase again from start to finish.

This is more for my curiosity and to compile a list of things not in the release notes.

-The plugin header issue common in Waves, and several other plugins, and plugins can now easily be closed or moved around.
-The PPQ option is now useable.
-Pads no longer stay lit when they aren't supposed to in chop mode.
-Samples are now sorted properly in sample edit
-Performance of VST's is improved, especially Waves. Waves plugins almost always caused audio to break up when adjusting parameters with sequence playing back. This no longer happens.
-Sample end point marker now shows at the proper location in sample chop mode.
-Issues with samples not saving have been addressed.
-No longer crashes when browsing samples to fast.
-Saving is much faster
-Some song mode issues were fixed.

And various other bugs were fixed. These are some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Could have added a million features, but with bugs like these, people would still be pissed.

AKAI could learn a lot from other software developers. If they would have given us a specific list like this we would be able to see what they've been working on all this time and it might not seem like they spent the last few months practicing their paddle ball skills.

Thanks Hellfire :)
