Hi I have two MPC4000's one for keeps (after all expansion from the other one have been ripped out), and one to sell on.
So, if anyone is interested in this I have a couple of questions.
I have installed a Noctua 6x25 fan from overclockers.com and I noticed that in some threads it says you have to resolder the wires, but I think I have found a way round this.
The pack comes with loads of cables. If you connect the fan to a low noise adaptor lead and then to the lead that fits into one of the IDE power connectors it works fine.
Does anyone know whether this is a problem in the long run.
Also, has anyone had problems after installing a SSD drive and then trying to use AkSys in Windows 7 XP Mode, for example if you transfer files to the SSD drive the wav files sound jumpy and AkSys will just give up if you try to copy too many files at once.
I am using a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO and
StarTech IDE to SATA Convertor
