Agreed. 300 enhancements would kind of standout to the end user...300 changes to code on the other hand could be anything and the user would never really notice it directly outside of more stability.

Well we've seen several times since the release there have been some misteps with the wordplay....when I saw '300 enhancements' displayed boldly on the site I swore I'd see this massive list of details of how much better everything is now with this quantity of enhancements. Then all I saw as a list of a few things. I literally thought I was missing pages in the release notes PDF and flipped back and fortha few times thinking something was wrong with the file. Even with Hf's list (which was at least better than what Akai reported) I was underwhelmed after expecting 300 line items.

and the Mv8k line....I always wished they would have turned that into a hybrid.

Agreed I'm suprised they combined both in a workstation.I'm not gonna dog Pete and his team cause I don't know what goes on behind the scenes but Akai needs to step it up.
