well I remember when mpd32 came out and it was over $300.. so these will probably go for more

True. I bought the mpk 49 when it first came out and it was about $400.. if this new one comes with the mpc essentials software. I can imagine about the same.. but we shall see.

$500 smackers for a USB/MIDI Controller... and you don't get the Real Deal MPC software...

I feel so...

another good point.. most people already have keyboard controllers..so at that price range maybe there hope was to push people to get the ren for a few extra hundred bucks.. who knows.. controller looks nice but I wont be buying it. already had mpk.

Very nicely design controller.. I like what they did with the pads.. it's different
with this controller though, it would be cool if it was the same idea as MPC Essentials.. but with better software for drum programming and the ability to chop samples...

is that asking for too much?
that would be a perfect alternative to buying a Ren or Maschine.. just use it with your DAW

Garbage... Where is the announcement that mpc users are suppose to be excited about?

They are retarded if they think any ren user is stoked on another mpk! Ren users are screaming for one thing! Make this software rock solid! That's it. No new plastic toys just our money's worth on this damn ren!

That Trigger Finger is Dope! Always was a fan and the first version served me well till I got my 1000 back in the day. It held its value at the time too.

Software hackers are gonna have a field day with this one...

If they are gonna focus on the software world. Make the ren WORK and REALLY work, make it the flagship and put more effrort into the customer base they already have.

I also dont see those new controllers flying off the shelves.. imo..

anyways..nothing more to see here.. later guys and good luck this year
