Faulty EB-16??

Hi all,

I just bought an EB16 off Ebay for 108 quid....and today I intalled it into my MPC2KXL. I have been having a play around with it and havent got very far....then when I assigned a reverb effect to one of my drums and pressed the drum pad....the whole sound reverbs crazily, mixes in with some crazy reverb from other pads that I didnt press and my MPC completely freezes up with the mess of reverb still blasting out.....none of the pads or buttons respond to anything...forcing me to turn the MPC off..... this has happened about 5 times now and apart from this i havent managed to get the EB16 to do anything....

Everything appears normal when I goto the mixer - fx edit etc....but when it actually comes to giving me an effect....it all goes tits up...

Before I mail up the bloke on ebay....can someone just guarantee me that this is a faulty EB16 and not something I could be doing wrong....

That's sounds like a bad card..

Maybe double check that u fitted it in well....Nice and tight!
If that dont work, I'd say it sounds unwell

I've got in touch with the dude and got my money back....Now I just gotta hope the card is at fault and not the EB16 socket on my MPC or sum sh!t...

i dont think the card is worth the money, i have it and i never use it

i agree. i had it for a while and i thank once again the guy that trade it with me for the 8 out card ! but that's just my opinion . I felt Eb 16 putted some GM flavor on my sampler .
