so the new midi controllers come with MPC essentials… imo thats making the ren/studio not necessary with the controllers having the rens pads, if i can do what the mpc software can in essentials then why buy a Ren (audio interface?). having a hard time understanding why not focus on your highest priced product? i understand alai may have more synth minded ppl onstaff but where is the true MPC heads from the old school???!!!
i member seeing a vid of germane dupri when the Ren 1st came out . bryan cox was telling him it had issues then and to wait til they update a few times… then i see bryan cox posting beat vids with the machine studio. My point is I was pretty sure from what was said b4 the en dropped was they went to all the known producers (known for using the mpc to make beats) to get their input on making a software based mpc for more power and flexibility. I know for a fact none of them said leave out any features from the standalone units that they are really not needed. AND where are those guys now to further co-sign a product they supposedly help launch. Akai, Numark, or INmusic needs to get someone in touch with the mpc legacy to help bring the ren/studio up to par wit the rest of the MPC family. If a very young college student and teach a homeless person to code
then it shouldn't be hard to get a machine and make it into software!!! i mean look at all the plugins modeled after vintage hardware. When i sold my mpc 5000 for the machine mk1 i was floored by the visual workflow stolen from the mpc but when the Ren/Studio came out (which id rather have) i felt the beat gods have awaken. All in all all i wanted was a visual of the iconic workflow of the legendary MPC So please akai or who ever pleas take a look at all your hardware mpcs and see what they have that the ren dosent and find you a coder to put it in a update. Sorry for venting fellas but i invite u all to do the same cuz i think the ppl screaming for new midi controllers are being heard more cuz we don't get anything we as a group ask for smh… i have more to say so please chime in and if you know or talk to any reps tell them to pay attention to their hardcore fans…

jokes....I got love for you D. But I'm being very serious lets get organized and do something to send a message as a collectiv!!!maybe dissatisfied ren/studio users should flood YouTube with rants like Just Blaze did for the 5000......and sent a very strong message to numark inmusic akai. All of us have one thing in common who frequent this site we all love mpc lets do something ....t dot out!!!'
