scsi cd drive for 2000xl

what scsi cd should i get for the 2000xl

probably, but you will need an enclosure to put it in so you can connect it to the back of the machine... also, you need to burn CDs in a way they actually work on the mpc.

it isn't really worth it though to be honest... just load stuff onto a compact flash card instead and skip the cd all together... it's faster, you can fit more on a card, you don't need blank cds, you don't need to burn anything, you don't need the cd rom drive...

yes, but it will be very expensive compared to one that uses the 2000xl's internal atapi/ide port... you can get a card reader for that starting at like 2 bucks on ebay.. or you can get a slightly nicer looking one that looks more stylish for a bit more money...

the addonics one because it comes with a bracket... and because the 20 dollar frys one can be bought for like a buck fifty on ebay... but doesn't have a bracket.
