midi sync skipping 1st bar(please help)

I just figured out syncng my mpc with logic pro 9, but im still having an issue with recording. Everytime i record onto logic its missing the 1st bar of the sequence from the mpc, i have no idea whats going on, anyone know of this issue

Normal issue with MIDI sync, devices need a little time to lock up sync before they start playing.

Turn on count in on play on the MPC, or put a blank bar at the start.

Move cursor on MPC Main Screen to the Count: field, press the Open Window button, in the Count/Metronome window change the Count IN: field to REC+PLAY.

Ive done that but im getting the same results

You are still missing the 1st bar of the sequence, as the recorded audio within Logic?

Or it is starting at the end of the 1st bar in Logic, but the 1st bar of the MPC sequence is intact?

Maybe I have it wrong, maybe the count-in will not do it, maybe you need to add a blank bar to the start of you MPC sequence?

It has been a while since I have done it, so quite possibly am not quite right.

Whatever you do, whether using a the count in, if that works, or adding a bar to the beginning of your MPC sequence, I think that it will probably still start late in Logic, and you might have to start your Logic sequence late as well.

If you can't get it going with inserting the blank bar at the start of the MPC sequence, I could hook it up and give it a go here, unless someone else can let you know how they handle it.
